Sevilla Cathedral and flamenco

Yesterday, we explored the Seville Cathedral, did some shopping and went to a flamenco show in the evening.
We started our day with breakfast at a little coffee shop just across from the Cathedral. In Spain they have the most amazing tomato 'spread' to put on toast; I think it's just puréed tomatoes with some garlic - delicious!
The Seville Cathedral is apparently the largest gothic cathedral in the world. It's huge inside, although it isn't as ornate as other cathedrals and the stained glass seems a little undersized relative to the rest of the building.

We particularly enjoyed the smaller chapels which were added on after construction of the main cathedral.

The Bell Tower - Giralda - was awesome too, with great views over the city. Instead of climbing steps to the top there was a very long ramp.

We also went for a walk around and looked in some shops. I bought some jandals as my feet have been suffering a bit with blisters from so much walking! The jandals have bows... and glitter. Here's a picture of me in the shopping district.

We had a look down at the river while we were wandering around. They have lots of great green spaces and gardens here, which are great for a break from the heat.

In the evening we went to an amazing flamenco show. It was really interesting as the artists were improvising which is much more true to pure, traditional flamenco. The singing, dancing and guitar playing were amazing!
